The Red Flags of a Child-Parent relationship post-separation.
Course contents: The course consists early prevention/intervention information about types of parental behaviours that are likely to lead to problems with the child–parent relationship post-separation.
• Parents in conflict post-separation
• How conflict effects children
• Discussion about attachment
• Alienation on a continuum
• Interventions (fdr, child inclusion, parenting courses, specialist interventions, court)
Targeted audience: Any separated or newly separated guardians / co-parents / Carers / who are already separated or going through the process of separation / divorce or parents who are planning to separate in the foreseeable future.

About the Presenter:
Jill Goldson is the director of The Family Matters Centre in Auckland, where she works clinically and in research with families and children experiencing the transition of separation.
Jill has recently graduated and gained a post grad degree in Parental Alienation Studies, Institute of Family Therapy (IFT-Malta) 2022.
As well as working with families for over 35 years, Jill has taught on professional training courses at university and also trains other professionals on child inclusive intervention in separation.
Jill has received a number of awards for her work in therapeutic mediation,has published academically and has been asked to consult on government advisory panels and speaks with the media. She is a Churchill Fellow and holds a post graduate qualification in management of parental alienation.
